Bengry Motors Ride & Drive Event

Bengry Motors, a familiar sight in Southern Avenue, have just added Ford to their motor portfolio and are pleased to announce a Ride and Drive event on Wednesday 16th June at 3pm - make sure you telephone Bengrys on 01568 612337 or email: [email protected] for your invitation.

This is the opportunity to try the new range of Ford and Mazda vehicles and there will be more than 15 models to test-drive for business or pleasure.

There will be a free prize draw, fun and face painting for the kids and a selection of refreshments in the afternoon, with a pig roast from 6pm.

"Bengrys are proud to support The Kilimanjaro 2010 Appeal in memory of local Bromyard-born and Minster College educated, Rifleman William Aldridge, the youngest soldier to have died in Afghanistan, aged just 18".

The Kilimanjaro 2010 Appeal have kindly been invited to have a stand selling wristbands and hold a raffle to raise funds in support of our injured Armed Forces at this event.



Sponsored 24hr Coast to Coast Cycle Ride

Jed Baron is participating in a sponsored cycle ride from Whitehaven in Cumbria on the West coast to Sunderland on the East coast of the UK in under 24hrs in memory of his Step-Brother Rifleman William Aldridge!

This is no mean feat, as the route covers 135 miles of roadways and Jed is more used to sitting behind a drawing board executing building draughts for his architectural studies course at Uni.

Big Summer BBQ

Englands Gate Inn, which was one of Williams local haunts have very kindly offered us their venue and hospitality to host our event.
Limited B&B accommodation is available at the venue so please visit:

Sponsored Bristol Half Marathon

William's uncle, Garth Aldridge is busy training for the Bristol Half Marathon this year and will be participating on 5th September to raise funds for the Kilimanjaro 2010 Appeal.
The Bristol Half Marathon successfully raise funds every year for their own dedicated charities and allow race participants to also raise for their chosen charity.

The race covers 13.1 miles - starting and finishing in Bristol’s historic Harbourside.

The scenic, sea-level route will take runners around the old city, past the Harbourside, out and back along the Portway, through the stunning Avon Gorge, and pass twice under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. Please view details of last years marathon by visiting:
